Driver Education - Chemeketa Community College




Year-Round Driver Education Classes 


  • Meets Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) necessities 
  • The DMV drive test might be waived for understudies 15-17 years of age with a legitimate Oregon grant who effectively pass the course. 
  • ODOT guaranteed teachers 
  • 34 hours of classroom guideline 
  • 12 hours of in-auto preparing 
  • 6 hours of driving 
  • 6 hours of perception 
  • Serves understudies ages 15 and more established, including grown-ups 


Driver Education Course Cost 


  • $205 for qualifying understudies with the low/no wage sponsorship program 


Low/No Income Subsidy Program:
There is a $75 State endowment program for understudies that fit the bill for the Free and Reduced lunch system, SNAP or TANF programs making the expense $205 as show above. Show qualification letter from the school region, from SNAP or from TANF. Self-teach understudies can qualify through the school region they are in.

(This advantage applies just to understudies under 18 years old and without a permit.)
